It's endlessly fascinating that many Liberals claim to be smarter than Conservatives. One of Ann Coulter's books detailed how so many Liberals attempted to advance the canard that Republican/Conservative Presidents are simply dim bulbs (however, not so dim that they weren't able to beat the best that the Democrats could nominate). Interestingly, even Jimmy Carter's harshest critics didn't suggest that he was stupid; to the contrary, most conceded that he was highly intelligent, given his credential as a nuclear engineer in the Navy (notwithstanding the fact that, like George W. Bush, he misprounounces "nuclear" as "nukular").
Now, a new scientific study out claims that Liberals are smarter than Conservatives.
The funny thing is that even a Liberal like William Saletan can figure out that the research is flawed.
I guess he's the exception that proves the rule.
