After nearly a decade's drought, Hampden-Sydney defeated Bridgewater (ranked 24th in NCAA Division III) yesterday, 38-31. It was the Tigers first victory over Bridgewater since 1998. Indeed, there were at least two years where Bridgewater delivered the Tigers' only defeat.
Unfortunately, the Youngs did not attend the game for the first time in a few years (dammit!), including at least once when H-SC was robbed by a bad call.
Division III playoffs, anyone?
