Justice Thomas On 60 Minutes

Say what you will about CBS News --- I frequently will, when I think about it at all --- but Steve Croft's interview of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (about halfway over as I write) is demonstrating why 60 Minutes has been on the air for decades.

I had the privilege of hosting Clarence Thomas --- then Chairman of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission --- at Emory Law School during my third year in 1988. I was very impressed ... and surprised not at all by his future success.
