A tip of the hat to chimpstein.com. It seems that Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers aided efforts to perpetuate reactionary Liberalism by promoting IOLTA (Interest On Lawyer Trust Accounts). It's the method by which the bar lays claim to interest earned on property held by lawyers for their clients. While, in a just world, the clients would get that money, the far-Left scam has used it to fund far-Left activities which cannot get funding the old-fashioned way, by earning it.
