WaPo Turns Off Blog

It seems that Pravda on the Potomac is addressing some of the same problems we work through in the Virginia blogosphere. It is shut down the comments section to its blog after commenters responding to Ombudsman Deborah Howell's column --- daring to point out that the Jack Abramoff scandal involves Democrats, too --- turned "nasty."

For the record, I --- for one --- never posted a comment there.

You far Lefties sure like to throw around the "L" word, don't you. To be sure, she conceded that what she should have said was "steered his clients to make contributions to Democrats." That's not a lie; it's a mistake. And does not detract from the essential point of influence peddling.

'Course, when Republicans seek political support, it's called "bribery"; when Dems do it, it's called a "social program."

Willis, the Big Lie may have worked for Herr Goebbels, but it doesn't work here.

And grow up!
