Bad News; Bad News

Former Senator John is not the only malignancy in his household.

Sadly, his wife's cancer is back.

It will not, however, interfere with his efforts to obtain power. His presidential campaign continues. What Edwards' partisans are touting as "love and courage in action" is indistinguishable from a raw lust for power.

Best wishes for good health to Mrs. Edwards. It's just too bad that her husband's ambition exceeds his concerns for his wife's health.

UPDATE: Demonstrating that this is not a partisan issue (anonymous cowardly attacks to the contrary notwithstanding), Ben Tribbett expresses similar sentiments here.

[whining tone] I know! And I can't express myself nearly as well as you can!

You are utterly, completely beneath comtempt. Is this the kind of "family values" you teach your two children? Can you compare and contrast John Edwards' acceding to his wife's wishes to the actions of Newt Gingrich, who had divorce papers served on his wife while she was in the hospital for cancer? Do you intend to teach your children that the latter example is the answer to WWJD? And what kind of "public interest group" employs such scum?

Anon 3:59, your sleazy, slanderous comment is deleted.

But I'll answer your question with another: Why do you cower in anonymity, Jason Hardebeck (if I'm reading the time correctly)?

Wow James...I just found this blog after my name popped up in a Google search, and I have to say, I have no recollection of ever having visited before, let alone leaving some anonymous nasty comment. Now I'm a bit curious to read what I supposedly wrote. I really have to work on kicking my crack habit...

Fair 'nuff, Jason. I'm happy to publish your denial, if I can find it. Send me an e-mail address, and I'll be happy to forward what I (perhaps wrongly) attributed to you.
