Only the Washington Post could run a headline like this with a straight face.
"GOP Moderate Chafee Wins R. I. Primary."
Only the Washington Post could call Lincoln Chafee a "moderate."
Who would they consider a GOP liberal then?
ReplyDeleteMaybe David Duke? After all, he is a racist Klan member, and that certainly has more to do with the Democrat Party than with the GOP.
ReplyDeleteChafee consistently rates at about 48-50% in the National Journal conservative/liberal rankings. Right in the center.
